A person claiming to buy my daughter's drawings on Discord tricked me into providing my wallet address and personal information under the guise of determining prices and making a bulk purchase. Exploiting my lack of knowledge and experience, they gained access to my digital wallet, stealing $270 worth of ETH. Shortly after, my Discord account was shut down due to a security breach.
My account contained years of saved games, game recordings, personal photos, and my daughter's drawings—all of which are now gone. Despite reporting the issue to Discord, my account has not been restored, and I feel helpless.
How can such a sophisticated scam, mimicking Discord's verification process, go unchecked? I urge Discord to take immediate action to prevent such breaches and protect users from fraud. This situation has caused me significant emotional and financial harm.
