I Lost Access to My Hacked Discord Account With No Way to Verify My Email
On 06/25/2026, my Discord account was compromised, and since that day I have not been able to access it in any way. My account was registered to an old Hotmail address, which I had already closed before this happened, so I currently have no way to access it.
Even though I've gone through the phone verification steps multiple times, the system insists that I must verify through the email, and I get completely locked out at that stage. I explained my entire situation in detail to Discord support in writing, telling them that my account was compromised and that I no longer have access to the registered email. Despite this, I only received a standard response saying that I need to access the email, and that otherwise they are unable to intervene in any way.
I am requesting that my account be recovered through password reset or identity verification using my phone number. If this isn't possible, I would at least like my account to be permanently closed for security reasons. Right now, my account is in someone else's hands and I'm unable to take any action, and support simply telling me "we can't intervene" leaves me seriously harmed and feeling unsafe.
I kindly ask Discord to reconsider this situation, help me recover my account using my phone number or other alternative verification methods, and if that isn't possible, to ensure my security by closing my account entirely.
