On January 11, 2026, I purchased a pair of Easy Street brand women’s boots from the Deichmann store in Forum Mall, Mersin. The very first time I wore these boots, they caused severe friction on my legs. I gave them another chance with longer socks, but even then the friction was so strong that it created serious sores on both of my legs and even damaged my socks. On January 31, I went back to the same store and submitted the boots for inspection along with my complaint. I waited until February 27 without receiving any information from Deichmann, so I went to the store again to ask for an update. At that point, I was told that the inspection had been completed and that no defect was found in the product. I clearly expressed my reaction and asked whether I was expected to keep wearing boots that tear my legs apart, or to throw away a product I paid ₺2,000 for without being able to use it. In addition to the physical discomfort and pain I experienced, I was never informed about the outcome of the first inspection and had to learn it only when I went to the store myself. Because I did not find this response acceptable, I requested a second inspection. This time I received another negative response by SMS, again stating that no defect had been found. I find it deeply disappointing that, despite the visible sores on both of my legs that took weeks to heal, my complaint was dismissed twice and I was effectively ignored. I am also attaching photos of the sores on my legs, which clearly show the extent of the problem caused by these boots. Given the physical harm, the unusable condition of the product for me, and the way my complaint process was handled, I demand either a full refund of the ₺2,000 I paid or an exchange with another suitable model that will not cause such problems. I expect Deichmann to take this issue seriously, to acknowledge the damage and inconvenience I have experienced, and to provide a fair and prompt solution. My receipt number is 02L2026000001101.

The next day, they called me and repeated that the product actually had no defect. The staff said they agreed to issue a refund to resolve the situation. This was a very arrogant and careless approach toward my complaint. Moreover, they made it a condition that I leave a 5-star review in order to receive the refund. I told them, “First refund my money, then I will leave my review,” but they refused. By following the step-by-step instructions they gave me on the phone, I eventually got my money back. Then I went to the store and collected my refund. However, it is clear that their real goal is not customer satisfaction, but to increase their ratings. They had already rejected my request twice before. They are not honest, and the stars I gave are not genuine. I will never shop at Deichmann again and will not recommend them.
