Decathlon Garmin Striker Vivid 5VC Fish Finder Melted Sockets, Warranty Denied
Hello; We have been using your Garmin Striker Vivid 5VC product for many years, and we purchased your Garmin Striker Vivid 5VC fish finder product for our new boat on 24.06.2023 from the Izmir / Balçova Decathlon store. After about 1.5 months of trouble-free use by following the usage rules specified for the product, we experienced a power outage in our device during a hunt, when we wanted to turn off the fuse and check the device, we saw that the sockets melted and the device did not work. How many times do you think we could have used this device, which was purchased only 1.5 months ago? We hunt on weekends as a hobby, we delivered the device to Decathlon in this way and they did not take it under warranty by saying user error and they wanted to return the 1.5-month-old device to us as broken. I request a report from your company that the examinations made by your company and the usage of the device were evaluated as a consumer error and that the problem was a mistake caused by me.
