My Money Was Deducted From My Account By Cvwizard
I recently noticed that an amount of R299 was deducted from my Capitec account on 22 February 2026 for a payment to Cvwizard, without my clear knowledge or consent for such a charge. Although I did previously register on the Cvwizard website and entered my card details for a CV service, I was not informed in a clear way that R299 would be deducted, nor did I knowingly approve this specific transaction as a recurring or once-off paid service at that time. After seeing the deduction, I contacted Capitec and was informed that online payments of this nature cannot be reversed through the bank. For this reason, I am now reaching out directly to Cvwizard. I request that the R299 deducted on 22 February 2026 be refunded to me and that any paid plan or subscription linked to my details be cancelled so that no further deductions are made from my account. I would appreciate a clear explanation of what this charge was for and under which terms it was processed, and I kindly ask that this matter be resolved as soon as possible.
