CV Wizard Unauthorized Subscription Charge

I am writing about an unexpected charge taken by CV Wizard from my Capitec savings card. On 20 February 2026 at 09:09, an amount of R299.99 was debited from my account, even though I only remember paying previously for a single CV download and did not intend to make any further payments. I did not authorise any subscription or recurring payments, and I was not clearly informed that more money would be taken after my single CV download. After seeing this transaction, I did not contact CV Wizard or my bank, but I have since stopped all my online purchases because I do not trust this charge. With this complaint, I request a full refund of the R299.99 that was taken on 20 February 2026 and the immediate cancellation of any subscription or recurring payment that may have been started on my profile without my clear consent. I also ask for a clear explanation of why this amount was taken from my Capitec savings card.
