CVwizard Charged Without Consent - Unauthorized Subscription
I recently discovered a deduction of R299 from my Capitec Bank account with the description “CVwizard” dated today. I do not recall purchasing any package or authorising a subscription with CVwizard. The only time I used CVwizard was once in January this year to create a CV, and I was not clearly informed that this would lead to any ongoing charges or subscription. After noticing the R299 deduction, I contacted my bank, Capitec, to get more information, but they informed me that they could not trace or clarify the charge beyond the “CVwizard” description. I find it very concerning that money was taken from my account without my clear consent to a recurring payment. I request a full refund of the R299 that was deducted, the immediate cancellation of any subscription or recurring payment linked to my details, and a complete stop to any future deductions from my account. I also request written confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be made. I request that this refund and cancellation be processed within 7 working days of receiving this complaint.
