How to Cancel an Unwanted CV Maker Subscription
On August 21, 2025, I used cvmaker.com.tr to create a résumé as a one-time service. I did not start any subscription and did not even create an account on the website. However, it appears that an account was automatically created during payment and a subscription was started without my knowledge. I don’t know the email address or password linked to it, so I cannot access the account.
After making the payment, I did not receive any notification regarding a subscription. When I noticed that money was being regularly withdrawn from my account, I emailed customer service to request a cancellation of the subscription and deletion of my card information. However, their first reply stated, “Your payment attempt has failed,” which was unrelated to my issue. Later, my request was outright denied.
Yesterday, after checking my bank account, I discovered that unauthorized payments had been withdrawn as follows: $8 on August 29, $7 on September 29, and $8 on October 29, totaling $23. I only made a one-time payment and never agreed to any subscription.
I request that my account and card information be permanently deleted, any active subscription be canceled, and that all payments made over the past three months be refunded. I live in Turkey and kindly ask that my issue be resolved promptly.
