I Report Unjust Baggage Fee and Passport Damage by Corendon Airlines
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint about the unacceptable experience I had at Glasgow Airport during my Corendon Airlines flight to Antalya (14:30 departure, PNR: G2B26N). Having travelled to over 40 countries, I’ve interacted with many airport and airline staff, but I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer care. I had a small cabin suitcase and a lightweight backpack containing only my laptop. To protect the device, I carried it separately. However, I was told I must pay an extra fee. There was no attempt to listen, no flexibility, and not even a basic apology. The staff’s tone was harsh and dismissive. As far as I could tell, Cole M*** and M***, stationed at the check-in desk, were responsible. After I paid the fee, Mr. M*** placed a sticker directly on the back of my passport, which damaged the barcode. I politely objected, explaining it’s an official document. His response was: “You take it off yourself. Where else was I supposed to put it?”—a completely inappropriate and unprofessional reply. This incident left me feeling humiliated and my passport partially damaged. I request a formal investigation and response regarding: 1. The unprofessional behaviour of the staff. 2. The unjustified additional baggage fee. 3. The inappropriate sticker placement on my passport. 4. The lack of any customer-oriented attitude. This reflects a serious issue in staff training and service standards. I expect confirmation of this complaint and information about next steps. Sincerely, Melisa B*** Passport Number: U32920***
