I used CoinPayments to purchase a token via the TRC20 network, but my transaction timed out and the platform held onto my funds. When I tried to request a refund, I was shocked to see that CoinPayments asked for a gas fee in order to return my own money. However, no clear instructions were provided on how or where to send this gas fee.
I attempted to input the wallet address they gave me, but I kept receiving an error that the address was invalid. So not only is my money stuck, but the system won’t even allow me to complete the refund process.
This is incredibly frustrating and feels unfair. I followed all procedures, and now I'm being penalized with extra fees and zero guidance. I’m requesting that CoinPayments immediately refund my money without unnecessary obstacles or at least provide clear, working steps to complete the gas fee requirement.
