Scammed via Coinbase Wallet—Funds Locked, Fake Taxes Demanded

I fell victim to a massive scam involving Coinbase Wallet. A company called Contrade Market contacted me, and their so-called advisor E repeatedly called for four months, convincing me to invest. They led me to a fake trading platform (Xtmobile), promising huge profits. They even assigned me a “trading expert,” E, who claimed he could manage my account.

I initially invested $10,000, but suddenly, my advisor disappeared, with another claiming he had a “car accident”. A new “senior expert” took over, pressuring me to open more accounts. When I finally wanted to withdraw, they blocked my access, telling me I had to pay $95,000 in taxes before receiving my funds. I paid, but never received my money—instead, they closed my account.

They then forced me to open a Coinbase Wallet, where my balance appeared but was completely fake—I could see my money but couldn’t withdraw it. It fluctuates between ₺600,000 and ₺700,000, but it's all synthetic, not real cash.

In total, I lost ₺1,000,000 to this scam. These fraudulent offshore companies are exploiting innocent people in Turkey, stealing money under the guise of “investing.” Authorities must take action! Coinbase, investigate and help victims recover their funds!
