I Receive Unsolicited Coinbase Emails About Verification Without Ever Signing Up

I’ve recently started receiving suspicious emails claiming to be from Coinbase, stating that I’m “ready to start investing” and then later saying my “ID verification failed due to glare.” The problem is, I never signed up for Coinbase, never provided my ID or personal details, and have no intention of doing so.

I’m extremely concerned that my personal information might be used without my consent, and I want to state clearly that I do not accept any responsibility for any actions taken under my name on this platform or any related services.

I have emailed the support team multiple times, explaining the situation in detail and asking them to investigate whether there’s an account opened in my name. Unfortunately, I have not received a single response. That lack of communication only increases my worry.

I’m asking Coinbase or any relevant party to take this issue seriously, confirm if my personal data has been used, and ensure no unauthorized account is associated with my name or email. If anyone else has received similar emails, I urge you to come forward so we can understand whether this is a broader phishing attempt or a system error. Coinbase must urgently provide a transparent explanation and protect potential victims.
