I believe that the product I purchased on May 6, 2023, is defective or counterfeit. I would like to file a complaint about the Moisture Surge Intense 72 Hour Moisturizer with serial number 192333042793 and production code B32.
I have purchased this cream several times and was very satisfied with it as a night moisturizer for my combination skin during the winter months. I bought the same cream 7 months ago during a promotion, knowing that I would use it within a few months; the price is now double due to the current conditions in the country.
I haven't even taken it out of the box and stored it in a dark, moisture- and temperature-controlled cabinet. When I wanted to use it a few days ago, the cream was beige. The official Clinique distributor Elca also sells it on Trendyol.
I have read similar complaints in user reviews from Clinique sellers written at the time of my purchase, and I found that many customers also received beige creams. After contacting customer service, I was informed that they cannot take action due to the past 6-month period since the order, which is unrealistic for me.
There is most likely an issue with a faulty batch that was sold, and Elca does not take responsibility for this error. Even through official distribution channels, defective products may be sold, which is likely known but not addressed, which is very disappointing and disadvantageous to the customer.
