I have been using the Clear 3 in 1 Menthol shampoo for about 4–5 weeks. Shortly after switching to this shampoo, I began experiencing intense itching all over my body—especially at night—as well as swelling on my legs caused by scratching. Although I occasionally feel itchy during the day, the nighttime itching becomes severe enough to keep me from sleeping. I have not had any recent lifestyle changes, and the only new product that has come into contact with my body is this shampoo.
I purchased the shampoo with my credit card from the Eve store on September 21. I have used about one-third of the bottle and have now stopped using it. I am currently out of town for work, but I can provide details such as the batch number or expiration date on Wednesday when I return home. No one else has used the shampoo, and no similar reaction has occurred with anyone else.
I have not yet seen a doctor, but based on what I have read about chemical allergies, I am concerned that this shampoo may be the cause of my symptoms. If this shampoo has triggered a lasting allergic reaction, I request that the brand cover all of my medical expenses and issue an apology for the inconvenience I have experienced.
