Lost Access to My Clash of Clans Account – Gmail Code Doesn’t Match

I’ve lost access to my Clash of Clans account and requested a recovery code through Gmail. Gmail provided me with an 8-digit code, but Clash of Clans is asking for a 12-digit code, which doesn’t match. I’m not sure what to do next to regain access to my account. Even if I’ve removed my Gmail account, is there still a way to log in and recover my Clash of Clans account? I would appreciate any guidance or help in solving this issue as soon as possible.
