About a month ago, I received a message from Citroen regarding my Citroen C4 disabled vehicle, informing me that I should immediately stop using it. The reason given was a life-threatening defect in the driver’s airbag. This has caused great concern, as such a serious flaw in one of the most basic safety features of a car is unacceptable. The vehicle was purchased brand new, all maintenance has been carried out at authorized services, and it is used as a disabled vehicle. After receiving the message, I filled out the form provided and submitted it to the authorized service, but despite a month passing, I have not received any response from either Citroen or the authorized service in Bursa. Discovering such a critical safety issue after 4 years, and the fact that the process is moving so slowly despite this being a disabled vehicle, raises questions about the value placed on human life. I urgently request Citroen to respond to me and ensure that this serious safety defect is made known to all users. Human life should not be treated so cheaply, and I expect the brand to take full responsibility in this matter.
