Citroen Has Made Me Travel 170km Three Times for Roof Paint Peeling Issue
I will be going to a city 170km away for the third time due to the issue of paint peeling on the roof of my vehicle caused by the incompetence of Citroen dealers. I visited the Antalya Citroen dealer Antoto on August 26 for regular maintenance and to address the paint peeling on the roof. After waiting for a month and contacting Citroen headquarters, I discovered that the file for my vehicle had not even been opened. As a result, I went to the Antalya Haşim Balaban service on October 5 solely for the paint issue. I was told twice that they needed to request files from headquarters and connect the car to a device. After being called to pick up the car an hour later, I saw they hadn’t even wiped the dust off the roof. They claimed they would forward the necessary documents to headquarters.
On Monday, October 7, I received a call from Haşim Balaban service stating that I needed to return because the headquarters requested additional information. I called headquarters on October 8, explaining that I had already visited the service twice and that none of the services were handling the matter properly. Since I couldn't return to the service, which is 170km away, until two weeks later, the representative suggested closing the file and reopening it when I could return. I explained that I had already been inconvenienced and didn’t want the file closed. Despite my frustration, I’m unsure what action the officer took.
I will make my third and final visit to Antalya Haşim Balaban service on Saturday, October 19. I expect support from Citroen headquarters and the authorized persons at Antalya Haşim Balaban service. If the service fails to address the paint peeling issue properly, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action.
