CeraVe Daily Moisturising Lotion Gave Me Eczema and a Burning Rash
For almost three months, I used CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion; initially, it worked wonderfully. My skin felt moist; I had no problems. But a few weeks later I started to get an itchy, burning eczema rash on my neck and chest. Though my doctor prescribed extended courses of antibiotics, steroid cream, and steroids, she urged me to remain taking CeraVe. The medications provided some temporary relief, but the rash returned after several weeks. Desperate, I decided to quit using CeraVe—and guess what? In roughly ten days, my eczema totally disappeared. A product marketed for sensitive skin never would have caused this. If you have unexplainable rashes, maybe about cutting out CeraVe. Not a joke, allergic eczema is serious, hence I wouldn't like to use this once more.
