CapCut Charged Me Every Month After a One-Month Subscription
I started what I believed was a one-month CapCut subscription for approximately $8 because I needed the service temporarily for a work-related task. However, although I understood the subscription to be limited to one month, my credit card continued to be charged approximately $8 every month without my knowledge or explicit authorization.
I discovered that I had been charged for an additional three months in total after reviewing the transactions on my VakıfBank credit card statement. As soon as I noticed the charges, I canceled my CapCut subscription and then contacted my bank. The bank's customer service informed me that I would need to visit a branch to dispute these transactions.
Since I started the CapCut subscription believing that it would only last for one month, I accept the charge for the first month, during which I used the service. However, I request a refund of the total approximately $25 charged to my card for the following three months. I ask CapCut to investigate these recurring charges, which I did not authorize, cancel any unauthorized recurring billing, and issue the appropriate refund to resolve my complaint.
