This evening, I visited Burger King and was shocked by the lack of hygiene practices. After the cashier handled cash, they handed me my food without washing or sanitizing their hands. When I pointed this out, the employee defensively stated that this is how they always do it, claiming that other places operate the same way.
To make matters worse, the store manager opened a red trash can with their bare hands and then proceeded to handle food in the kitchen with those same dirty hands. When I expressed my concerns, the manager replied that washing hands during busy hours is difficult.
It’s unacceptable that employees and management lack basic hygiene standards. After this experience, I will not be returning to Burger King. If they can't ensure proper cleanliness for their customers, they shouldn't be in the food service industry.
