Burberry Order From Farfetch Stuck in Customs With Unexpected Fees

On June 17, 2025, I placed an order for a Burberry product through Farfetch (Order No: SFZL3P). The delivery address was Samsun/İlkadım, and I paid €340 for this purchase.

Instead of receiving my order, I was informed that the package was being held in customs and that I was responsible for paying an additional ₺20,000 in customs fees. At no point during checkout or purchase was I informed that customs duties would be charged to me.

Because of this, I requested a return and tried to contact Farfetch customer service via email, but I have not received any response. This is the first time I have encountered such a problem with an international order, and the lack of communication has only made the situation more frustrating.

I demand either a full refund of €340 or that Farfetch covers the customs charges so I can receive the product without additional costs. As a customer, I should not be left with unexpected fees that were not disclosed at the time of purchase.
