Bright Learn Fast Charges Customer for Unauthorized Subscription Renewal

The annual subscription to the Bright Learn Fast app that I purchased through the App Store was automatically renewed on August 6, 2026, without my explicit consent or approval, and I was charged approximately $61. The subscription now appears to be extended until August 7, 2027.

Although I originally subscribed last year, I received no notification before this year's renewal and was not asked to provide separate consent for the renewal. I did not receive any warning email or notification before the subscription expired. Instead, approximately $61 was charged directly to my account on the renewal date. I would also like to emphasize that I have not used the app for approximately four to five months and that it is not even installed on my phone.

Since there is no customer service channel available within the app, I submitted complaints by email in both Turkish and English. However, I have received no response. I submitted two refund requests through the App Store, and both were rejected. I then contacted Apple Customer Service, which accepted and forwarded my complaint, but the outcome was still negative. In a similar case a few years ago, when the same app renewed my subscription without my authorization, my refund request was accepted.

I categorically dispute this charge. Since I did not approve this year's subscription renewal, I demand the immediate cancellation of my Bright Learn Fast annual subscription and a full refund of the approximately $61 charged to my account, without any deductions.

Otherwise, please be advised that I will reconsider pursuing a charge dispute through my bank and exercise all my legal rights, including filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee in Türkiye.
