P Sport Tires Split While Driving On a Smooth Road

On 01.05.2024, one of the Bridgestone 215/60R17 96H Dueler h/P sport tires that came on my Citroen C4X vehicle, which I bought new from the dealer on 01.05.2024, was cracked when I stopped and checked it with the low air pressure warning that appeared on the screen while I was driving on the freeway while the vehicle was still 2500 km on the first long road I took with my vehicle. How can a tire split even though I did not get any impact on a straight road and did not fall into a pothole etc. How can a tire split? I sent the tire for inspection under warranty through the Bridgestone dealer for inspection. As a result of the inspection, it was concluded that the damage to the body of the tire was caused by cutting materials hitting the tire from outside during the use of the vehicle. No fabrication defect was found. Frankly, this answer did not satisfy me at all. I don't know what could hit the tire enough to split the tire while driving on a straight road on the freeway. This approach did not suit the brand at all, and it made me feel that I might experience the same problem in other tires in the other vehicle in the vehicle. The brand does not stand behind the product in any way.In addition, I am not the only one who has this problem, there are others who have almost the same situation on sikayet.var. I leave a visual below. At least it could have been helpful for customer satisfaction. In addition, the bigger problem is that this 2024 model 1 week production tire that comes with the zero vehicle is not on sale at any dealer and on the internet, a tire that is not in stock in Turkey comes on the vehicle, your tire splits, you cannot find the same pattern, the same size tire anywhere. I do not understand what kind of production approach this is. If there is no return to my complaint from the brand and my problem is not solved, I will definitely not use Bridgestone tires and I will continue on my way by removing the other tires on my vehicle and buying 1 set of tires from another brand. I do not recommend this brand to anyone.

I was called by customer service regarding my complaint. As a result of the inspection, it was concluded that the tire was torn due to an external impact. I don't understand how they came to this conclusion, given that my car's tire was torn despite not hitting anything on a straight road. By the time I pulled over after the vehicle's tire pressure warning, all the air had already leaked out, and since the car had been running on a flat tire until I stopped, there was also internal damage. They told me that I could send it for a second inspection. But I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle. Additionally, the fact that the tire that came with the brand new car is not in their stock is another issue. I don't understand how such a big brand doesn't stock a tire that comes with many new cars sold on the market. Imagine you damage your tire, and the same patterned tire is not available in the market. I am also suspicious of the remaining three tires on the vehicle; I don't trust them and won't continue driving with these tires. I will remove all of them and continue my journey by purchasing a set of tires from another brand. I absolutely do not recommend the Bridgestone brand to anyone.
