Bosch Washer with Serious Problems and Questionable Warranty
My home is in Adana, Turkey. It hasn't even been a year since I bought the Bosch i-Dos washing machine when the door seal came loose during a wash cycle, causing water to flood out. I contacted customer service because I had extended the warranty when I purchased the device. To my surprise, they arrived before the standard warranty had even expired, and they claimed that the door seal replacement was not covered by the warranty. They demanded an outrageous 1800 tl for the repair. They blamed the problem on washing clothes with zippers or buttons, despite the fact that I hadn't washed any such items, especially since it was still winter. Despite the fact that I had an extended warranty, they insisted on me paying for the repair. Bosch's actions are completely unacceptable to me. The machine was clearly not properly manufactured or supported. It's a shame that, despite selling their products, they always try to avoid honoring warranties.
