Bosch WGA142X0TR Door Noise - Extended Warranty Refusal
I’ve been experiencing a noise coming from inside the door of my Bosch WGA142X0TR washing machine for about a month. The product is still under both the standard and extended warranty. I called Bosch authorized service center, and when they arrived, they said a part inside the machine was broken and claimed it was due to user error. However, I have always used the machine normally and never interfered with the door in any way. The service report also mentioned the broken part. When I purchased the extended warranty, I was clearly told that all types of malfunctions would be covered and that I wouldn’t face any issues. Now, they’re saying the fault isn’t covered under warranty and are demanding ₺5,950 for part replacement. They also asked for a ₺700 service fee if I don’t proceed with the repair, which I refused to pay. I contacted Bosch customer service, but they also insisted it was user error and didn’t help. I feel wronged because this issue should be covered under the extended warranty, and I was never informed otherwise. I request that the repair be handled under warranty and that all charges issued to me be canceled.
Our request was not met. We were victimized by Bosch. I will definitely not buy Bosch brand products. I do not recommend getting an extended warranty to anyone. It was very disappointing for a company like Bosch, which we thought was corporate.
It is not possible for the part inside the machine to be broken by external intervention. They said it might have happened during assembly. The service representative even said this verbally... But unfortunately, we have been victimized by Bosch officials.
