On February 18th, we purchased a fridge from the Bosch store (Gürbüz Grup) in Cevahir Shopping Mall, Istanbul. They informed us that the delivery time would be 2 weeks. We were surprised by this timeframe, but they reassured us, saying, "Don't worry, it won't take that long, but we say 2 weeks just in case." Over the next two weeks, we called the store 5-6 times to inquire why the delivery was delayed. Each time, they promised to call back within an hour or by the next day, but we never received any follow-up. Finally, on March 4th, the saleswoman called me to inform us that they couldn't deliver the fridge because they didn't have it in stock. Instead, they offered another model with the same size (60cm) for purchase. Can you imagine? They sold us a fridge they didn't have, kept us waiting for 15 days without any updates, and then informed us they couldn't fulfill the order. We spent two weeks without a fridge waiting for them!
When we visited the store and requested to purchase the alternative fridge immediately, we asked for a discount as compensation for the inconvenience caused. However, the saleswoman informed us that they didn't have that fridge either, contradicting her earlier statement. This experience with the Bosch store was utterly disappointing. Despite initially thinking the issue was with the particular store, I later discovered it was Bosch itself that didn't care. All they did was offer apologies from the General Directorate, which didn't compensate for the 15 days without a fridge or the frustration caused by their negligent workers failing to contact us even once during that time. I am the one who is sorry, not them.
