I opened a short position on the Voxel/USDT pair yesterday on Binance, and what happened next left me shocked. Instead of the usual three daily funding charges, I was hit with hourly deductions—₺8.15, ₺17, ₺27—adding up to roughly ₺300 in total fees. These amounts were deducted one after another, far more frequently and aggressively than Binance’s own policy states.
To be clear, I’ve been trading on Binance for over three years, and I’ve never seen such extreme and unexplained charges. Funding fees are supposed to occur three times a day—not every hour, and certainly not at this scale. If this is a new structure, where’s the warning? Where’s the transparency?
Binance, I’m demanding an explanation and a full breakdown of these charges. Why were hourly fees applied? Why did they total such an unreasonable amount? I also expect a refund for the excess deductions, because this feels like a serious deviation from your own fee structure.
