Bigo Live Account Deletion Request Not Working and Security Concerns on iPhone
I attempted to delete my account on the Bigo Live app by submitting a deletion request directly through the platform. However, despite starting the deletion process, the next day I received a warning on my iPhone that said, “Your session has expired, your account was logged in from another device.” Although I was still able to log back in, the app now states that my account will be permanently deleted within 20 days.
This entire process has made me very uneasy about the security of my account. If the deletion process has already been initiated, there should not be suspicious logins from another device. To make matters worse, there is no clear customer service phone number or reliable support channel to get direct assistance. While I do not have sensitive payment information saved on the account, the lack of clarity and security makes me feel vulnerable.
I am requesting that my account be deleted immediately, stronger security protections be applied, and I be given a full and clear explanation of what happened with the suspicious login notification. Bigo Live must take this issue seriously, as users should feel safe when managing or closing their accounts.
