Beats Studio 3 Skyline Collection Developed Structural Cracks

On 02/22/2024, I purchased a Beats Studio 3 Skyline Collection headset through Vatan Bilgisayar’s online/phone sales channel. I used the product normally for a period of time, but when I later picked it up again, I noticed a crack on one side of the headband. After examining the other side carefully, I also discovered the beginning of a similar crack in the same area. When I originally received the product, the box was completely intact with no dents, impact damage, or packaging problems.
Without wasting any time, I contacted Vatan Bilgisayar, and the headset was sent to an authorized Apple/Beats service center for inspection. After the evaluation, I was informed that the issue was classified as “user damage” and that I would need to pay approximately $308 to receive a replacement product. I absolutely do not accept this conclusion or the requested amount. I used the headset carefully and reasonably, and the problem appears to be clearly related to material quality and structural durability rather than misuse.
During my discussion with a Vatan Bilgisayar customer representative, I was told that I could visit the nearest branch, so I went to the Çanakkale branch. The branch contacted Apple KVK service on my behalf regarding the issue. I currently have both the official service report and the original product invoice.
I believe that a headset cracking in this manner after careful and normal use indicates a manufacturing or material defect. Therefore, I request that my Beats Studio 3 Skyline Collection headset be evaluated as a defective product and replaced free of charge with either a new unit or the current equivalent model. Alternatively, I request a free repair. If neither option is possible, I demand a refund sufficient to purchase an equivalent replacement product under today’s inflation and market conditions.
