I am filing a complaint regarding unauthorized annual renewal charges applied to my credit card ending in 0637 by Avast, without my knowledge, explicit consent, or prior notification. I became aware of these unauthorized charges on 3 December 2025. Without any authorization given for automatic renewal, two separate transactions were processed on 1 September 2025. Under Order ID AVAP1634245016, Avast Premium Security was charged for ₺299.00, and under Order ID AVAP1634265423, Avast Cleanup Premium was charged for ₺269.00, for a total amount of ₺568.00. I did not approve these renewals, and I was not clearly informed in advance that such recurring charges would be made. After noticing the unauthorized collection, I visited your website to request a refund and cancel the subscriptions. However, I was met with an extremely long, complex, and highly technical Cancellation and Refund Policy. This text appears to be written in a way that makes it very difficult for an average consumer to understand their rights and to actually obtain a result. While trying to exercise my rights as a consumer, I felt that Avast’s incomprehensible procedures and complicated policy are being used to create obstacles and cause victimization, which is a key part of my complaint. I demand that the total amount of ₺568.00 be fully and immediately refunded to my credit card ending in 0637 due to the unauthorized nature of these recurring charges, and that both subscriptions, Avast Premium Security and Avast Cleanup Premium, be permanently cancelled with immediate effect to prevent any future unauthorized charges. I also request that this process be handled swiftly, without unnecessary delay or bureaucratic hurdles, and that I receive a clear written confirmation of both the cancellation and the refund.
