Today, I downloaded and installed Avast Free Antivirus from its official website, and immediately afterward, my computer began experiencing serious technical issues. My internet connection was lost, the Windows search bar stopped working, I couldn’t access Task Manager, and the computer wouldn’t shut down properly — it stayed stuck on the “Shutting Down” screen.
When I restarted the computer, the desktop appeared as a black screen, and it took about five minutes to load after the login screen. While trying to uninstall the program, I struggled for nearly half an hour before finally removing it. Throughout this entire process, I had to force shutdown my PC multiple times using the power button.
I suffered due to Avast’s software damaging my system. I did not have any other antivirus program installed, and I’m using Windows 11. I request compensation for the damage caused to my computer and ask for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
