ASUS Service Declares TUF Gaming A17 AU FA706IC Laptop Out of Warranty, Unfairly Blaming Me
I always wanted an Asus TUF Gaming A17 AU FA706IC Laptop, and now my child finally has one. But, when I sent it in because of a problem with the keyboard, the laptop came back with a new battery and some new problems: the fans don't work and there are issues with charging. I returned it, but the service said they didn't authorize the repairs and wanted me to pay for the fix. Even though there was no proof of tampering, they accused me of messing with the BIOS chip. I complained to Asus Headquarters, who suggested I had tampered with something. I told customer service about the problem the following day, but they said that one day might be sufficient for troubleshooting. I used to really like Asus, but they've let me down. They asked for the price of a new laptop that has a battery life of 1-1.5 hours, without me using it. Asus Service Center ruined my 20-year love for Asus by making false accusations. It's really discouraging not to be able to prove the injustice. I just want my laptop to be returned to how it was before, with the battery put back in and the charging problem fixed, just like when I first sent it. Nothing more, nothing less.
After long efforts and complaints, they called me from the headquarters and replaced the motherboard that the service had damaged under warranty as part of customer satisfaction. I would like to thank Mr. B***, the customer representative who handled the process. I wish it had been resolved by believing me without causing so much distress and delay. Hopefully, it will be for the best...
