"ASUS" Damaged My Device And Wants To Charge For Repairs

"ASUS" Damaged My Device And Wants To Charge For Repairs
July 19, 2024 1:58 AM51

Asus's official application, "MyAsus," updated all the drivers and applications of my FX506HEB model gaming laptop as part of its function, including the GPU's VBIOS file. Up to this point, everything was normal. However, after the GPU VBIOS update, the gaming performance of the computer completely deteriorated, and this process cannot be reversed. When I contacted the service, they requested a fee because the warranty period had expired, and they did not attempt to find a solution. The system itself caused this issue under the guise of an update and now asks for a fee to fix it. Despite choosing Asus specifically for all my computers and parts, encountering such a problem deeply hurt me. This Part is for Company Officials: The VBIOS file version after the update is attached, Product Model: FX506HEB, Product S/N: MCNRCX05L005510, Service No: E24070029752-0001.
