I Bought Multiple Asics Running Shoes and They All Tore at the Same Spot Within a Year
Buying Asics running shoes has been a huge regret. I purchased a total of four pairs—one for myself, two for my son, and one for my nephew. All of them developed the exact same defect in under a year: the upper mesh tore open at the same spot on each pair. This clearly points to a design or material flaw, not regular wear and tear.
When I brought the shoes to the store for inspection, I was told there was “no manufacturing defect” and the damage wouldn't be covered under warranty. That’s absolutely unacceptable. I paid a total of ₺30,000 for these shoes, and they couldn’t even last a year?
This kind of quality and lack of accountability doesn’t reflect the image Asics tries to project. Once you buy the shoes, it feels like you're on your own. Asics, stand behind your products. I expect a full replacement or refund for all defective pairs. Don’t make loyal customers regret choosing your brand.
