iPhone Overheating and Warranty Repair Led to Depreciation

iPhone Overheating and Warranty Repair Led to Depreciation
October 22, 2024 4:57 PM22

I bought an iPhone and used it for about a month after setting it up. Unfortunately, it overheated and shut down, so I sent it in for warranty repair, where some parts were replaced. When I decided to sell it, I was informed that it lost value due to being opened for repairs. To make matters worse, just a day after getting it back, I received a message stating, “Your phone is unregistered,” leaving me stuck with a problematic device. As a soldier with limited time, I don’t have the luxury to deal with this ongoing issue. I reached out to Apple support, but their assistance has been far from satisfactory. I intend to file a complaint with consumer rights authorities to address this unresolved matter.
