Apple Refuses to Replace My MagSafe Wallet That Wore Out in Just 6 Months

The Apple MagSafe wallet I purchased in October 2024 started peeling at the corner after just six months of use. When I contacted Apple Support, they told me the issue was due to usage and therefore not covered under warranty for repair or replacement. They also emphasized that the product had undergone numerous tests during the engineering phase before being released for sale. However, if it wears out this quickly in just six months, then there’s clearly a flaw in the engineering process. You can’t simply blame the customer by calling it “wear and tear” after paying a premium for a wallet. I am requesting a repair or replacement under warranty. It seems I’ll have to think twice before buying another Apple product, because clearly, Apple doesn’t stand behind its own product.
