I've always trusted Anker for my charging needs—every charger and cable in my home is from this brand. About three years ago, I bought an Anker power bank, which I’ve used only occasionally and always stored with care. Recently, however, the battery inside the power bank swelled, causing the outer casing to crack—a dangerous and unacceptable failure for any electronic device, especially one known for safety and reliability.

Given that Anker is a reputable global brand, I expected them to stand by their product, even if the warranty had expired. I reached out to customer support with the hope they’d offer a solution. Unfortunately, their response was both disappointing and dismissive. They blamed the issue on battery cycle limitations and claimed the power bank couldn’t be repaired because it's a "press product." They added that their 2-year warranty only covers completely defective batteries, not ones that fail gradually.

This is not what I expected from a company like Anker. A power bank’s battery shouldn’t bulge and crack after light, responsible usage—even outside of warranty, a safety issue like this deserves proper follow-up. I also shared images of the damaged product with my request, but that made no difference in their stance.

I’m demanding accountability from Anker. They should replace or refund the faulty unit and acknowledge the safety risks involved. I trusted this brand, and I feel let down. Anker, if you care about your loyal customers and product safety, make this right.
