Amway Water Purifier Control Unit Failure - Warranty Dispute

I purchased my Amway water purification device in 2022 from Istanbul. I didn’t open the box at that time since I was planning to move, and I had it installed and started using it in May 2024. In July 2024, the device malfunctioned. I sent it to service, and they stated that the issue was caused by the filter, replaced it, and returned the repaired device to me. After some use, the filter signaled for replacement again, so I changed it. However, a few months later, I noticed that the device was no longer purifying water. When I checked under the sink, I realized it wasn’t working at all. I sent it to service again on October 9, explaining the issue. On October 13, 2025, Ms. T**** from Amway technical service informed me that the device’s control unit was burned out and that it needed replacement, but I would have to pay 7,300₺. I explained that the device was still under warranty and that I shouldn’t have to pay. She said that a one-year warranty was provided during the filter replacement in July 2024 and that this period had expired. She also claimed that such devices could burn out due to power outages or low voltage in my area and suggested I seek compensation from the electricity provider. Even though I told her that none of my other electronic devices had any issues, she insisted that this was the process and said I must order the replacement part and pay the fee. I am aware that, by law, electronic devices have a 3-year warranty on parts and a 10-year warranty covering major electronic components (such as control units, hard drives, and memory cards). I shared these details with the authorized representative, but she said there was nothing she could do. Since the product is quite expensive, I am facing a significant loss. I request that the replacement be made as soon as possible and that I be contacted promptly regarding the resolution.
