On October 27, 2024, at 10:31 AM, I received a notification from VakıfBank regarding a $4100 transaction made to Amazon Web Services. This transaction, along with two additional suspicious entries—one for $0 to Amazon Web Services and another for $0 to Paytient Norway—was made without my knowledge or approval. I never received any prior confirmation or alert for these unauthorized transactions.
As soon as I noticed these charges, I immediately contacted VakıfBank’s customer service and reported the issue. I confirmed that these transactions were not mine and took precautionary measures by canceling my credit card and disabling internet and mobile banking access.
This is the first time I have experienced such a breach as a VakıfBank customer, and it is deeply concerning that transactions of this magnitude were approved without my consent. I demand that VakıfBank investigates this matter urgently, resolves my grievance, and ensures that such incidents do not occur in the future. I expect immediate feedback and a swift resolution.
