Complaining Unknown Amazon Charges
I am writing about unauthorized charges taken by Amazon.com from my Intrust Bank debit card and my inability to reach a real person in customer service to resolve this. Although I do not believe I have an active Amazon account, I have discovered repeated charges of $14.99 taken from my Intrust Bank debit card from around October 2025 through July 2026, totalling approximately $149.90. On top of that, I was charged an additional $35 stopped-payment fee. I did not knowingly approve any such subscription or service, and I did not receive any clear information or notice about these monthly charges. When I tried to solve this problem, I needed to talk to a real person from Amazon. However, I could not find a working, official phone number. I tried 4–5 different phone numbers that were shown as Amazon contacts, and none of them worked. Because of this, I am stuck with charges I never agreed to, and I still cannot access or manage any account that might be linked to my email or card. I request that Amazon refund the full amount of these unauthorized charges, including the approximately $149.90 in monthly debits and the $35 stopped-payment fee, and that any account or subscription connected to my Intrust Bank debit card be cancelled. Since I am not even sure which account is linked to these charges, I ask that this refund be credited back to my Intrust Bank debit card in my name so I can use my money for my purchases. I also expect clear contact information and accessible customer support so that I can reach a real person if there are any questions about this situation.
