Amazon Won't Replace TCL 55P725 55-inch 4K UHD LED Android TV
I am writing to complain about a defective TCL 55P725 55-inch 4K UHD LED Android TV that I purchased from your website on July 21, 2022. The TV developed a fault in early November 2023 and was taken to the BILKOM authorized service center under warranty. The BILKOM service center's DOA report dated December 8, 2023, states that the television's motherboard fault could not be repaired and that a replacement could be made through the seller. When I applied for a replacement using this report, I received a response from Amazon.com.tr stating that they could not make a replacement because they did not have the same product in stock and that they would not provide a comparable product. This is not an acceptable explanation, as many models could be supplied as alternatives (TCL 55P725G, TCL 55P735, etc.). A refund of the product's invoice value is unacceptable and creates a serious grievance. The price of the same product has increased by three or four times since the invoice date. As the hyperinflation in my country makes all prices go skywards. The fact that the consumer is being punished in this way as a result of a hardware problem with the product, and that the product cannot be replaced or repaired under warranty, has shaken our trust in the TCL and Amazon brands. We request that action be taken to resolve this grievance and to ensure that our defective product is replaced with a comparable product.
