Amazon Order Returned Without Delivery - Price Increased
On 1 December 2025, I purchased an electronic toothbrush worth ₺14,000 through my Amazon Prime membership. On Monday, I was called by the courier company Kolaygelsin, who claimed there was a problem with my address. Shortly after, I received a message stating that the product would be delivered within the day. However, no one came to my address, and on 4 December I received a message saying that the product had been returned. During this short period, the price of the same product increased to ₺27,000. All other orders I have placed using the same address information have been delivered without any issues, but this product was never delivered. I purchased this item for ₺14,000 as a Prime member; it was not sent for four days, then it was marked as returned, and I was told I could buy it again—naturally at the new, higher price. Under these circumstances, I do not believe the product actually existed in stock, and I suspect the sale was made solely to hold customers’ money during the return period. Although it is stated that the product was returned, it does not appear in stock on Amazon, whereas a returned product should physically be in inventory. I therefore believe this was done in bad faith and merely as a way to use customers’ funds, because the product never reached me, was marked as returned, and then shown as out of stock. I request that my loss be compensated and that the electronic toothbrush I purchased for ₺14,000 on 1 December 2025 with my Prime membership be supplied and delivered to my address under the same conditions, without the current increased price being applied to me.
