Amazfit T-Rex Pro Dies Two Months After Warranty Expires
I purchased an Amazfit T-Rex Pro smartwatch through Trendyol in February 2024. Only about two months after the warranty period expired, I was forced to ship the watch to an authorized service center because it developed a serious malfunction. The watch shuts down immediately when it is disconnected from the charger, making it impossible to use normally. There are no signs of impact, scratches, or any other indication of user error on the product, yet this problem has occurred.
After inspecting the watch, the authorized service center told me that both the motherboard and the battery needed to be replaced. However, instead of providing a clear repair quote, they simply told me that the repair would be expensive and attempted to sell me a new watch. In my communications with Amazfit, I was only told that the warranty period had expired, and no solution was offered. The product is marketed with a strong emphasis on durability, creating the impression that it could withstand even extreme conditions, yet experiencing such a serious failure immediately after the warranty expired is unacceptable.
Although the warranty period expired only a short time ago, I request that my Amazfit T-Rex Pro smartwatch be repaired free of charge as a goodwill gesture, given the nature of the malfunction I have experienced.
