Allianz Refuses to Renew Health Insurance After Three Years of Coverage
We purchased an Allianz Orange Network Supplementary Health Insurance policy through Allianz Sigorta in my wife’s name, Z** Ü***. Our policy was continuously active in 2023, 2024, and 2025 without interruption.
On March 6, 2026, when our policy period expired and I called Allianz to renew the policy, I was verbally informed that the policy would not be renewed because my wife previously had breast cancer, and that our lifetime renewal right had also been canceled. Our policy number is 0001071008632945.
Although my wife had this medical history, she was able to remain insured under this policy for three years. However, once the lifetime renewal right came into consideration, the policy was suddenly terminated completely, which has placed us in a very difficult financial and emotional situation.
I request a detailed written explanation of this contradictory decision. I also ask that my wife not be unfairly disadvantaged because of her past illness, and that our policy be renewed with the lifetime renewal right recognized.
I expect Allianz Sigorta to review this decision, address our grievance, and reinstate our policy under the same conditions as before.
