We landed in Hanover on May 8, 2025, having rented a car from Alamo Rent A Car a few days prior through Carflexi, with ₺900 already blocked on our credit card. When we went to pick up the car at the airport, there was only one woman working at the Alamo counter. She refused to give us the reserved vehicle—neither a manual nor an automatic—claiming that we had used the word “stupid” about her while speaking among ourselves. We explained that we hadn’t said anything of the sort and had no reason to insult her, but she didn’t believe us and refused to listen. She then kicked us out of the counter area and threatened to call the police. When we asked her to go ahead and call the police, she ignored us and wouldn’t even respond. With no other option, we urgently rented a car from Sixt instead. When we explained what had happened with the Alamo employee, the Sixt representative said, “This girl always does the same thing.” We are formally complaining about this incident and requesting an investigation into the situation.
