Airbnb Host Canceled My Reservation, Citing a Ridiculous 120-Day Minimum Stay Requirement

10

I booked an Airbnb after the host confirmed my reservation, and I made the payment. However, shortly after, the host canceled the reservation, claiming that Airbnb requires a minimum stay of 120 days, which is completely unreasonable. This behavior is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I planned to stay for a few days, not months—what tourist books a stay for 120 days? It feels like they're selectively approving reservations based on personal biases. Airbnb should ensure hosts are reliable or remove them from the platform altogether. I'm deeply frustrated by this experience and expect better from a trusted platform like Airbnb.
