Agoda Booking Error – Hotel Charging Extra for Incorrect Guest Count
I booked a family stay at Vorgatten Apartments in Vienna via Agoda for April 1-5, 2025, reserving a room for four people (two adults and two children). However, when I checked my reservation details, the system incorrectly recorded it as only two adults instead of two adults and two children.
Now, the hotel is demanding an extra fee for the additional guests, even though I booked for four people from the beginning. This is clearly a system error on Agoda’s end, and I should not have to pay for a mistake I did not make.
I request Agoda to fix this issue immediately by correcting my reservation details and ensuring that I am not charged extra. This is an inconvenience that could have been avoided, and I expect better service from a major booking platform.
