Agoda Booking Cancelled One Hour Before Check In After 360 Km Travel
I had made a hotel reservation through Agoda at Rutu Enclave in Revdanda, with my stay scheduled to start on 26 December at 12:00 pm. On the same day, at around 11:00 am, just one hour before check‑in, the hotel informed me that my booking was cancelled, stating that Agoda is a third‑party application. This last‑minute cancellation left me without accommodation after I had already travelled approximately 360 km from my hometown and had reached near the property. This situation caused me serious inconvenience and completely disrupted my travel plans. When I contacted customer service, I was only offered a “free cancellation,” which is not an acceptable resolution because I had already travelled all the way to the location based on a confirmed booking. I request a clear written explanation of the real reason why my confirmed booking was cancelled at the last minute, as well as a written apology for the trouble and inconvenience caused to me due to this incident.
