I Regret Giving 23andMe My DNA After an Unauthorized Charge

I saw a $70 charge on my account that I didn't agree to, and that made me feel uneasy and a little exposed. I gave 23andMe my DNA, which is very private, and now I wish I hadn't. It's even more worrying that they've filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. What will happen to all that private information? It's scary to think that my genetic information could be shared or sold without my knowledge. When I asked for help, hoping for at least some clarity or support, the answer I got was cold and dismissive. It seemed like they didn't care at all. I really wish I hadn't used their service, and I wouldn't tell anybody else to.
