10 Minute English Charges Unauthorized Recurring Subscription Fees

I intended to use the 10 Minute English app through my Turkish App Store account only as a one-week trial. However, a long-term subscription was initiated and I was charged without my clear and explicit consent. When I attempted to purchase the trial package through the app, the system apparently enrolled me directly in a subscription. I did not receive sufficient or clear information about this either within the app or through the App Store.

Since July 2025, I have been charged $35 every two months as an international transaction with the description “sp language courses.” These recurring charges continued through my May 2026 statement, and I believe the charge for the July 2026 period will also appear on my statement after my billing date of July 19, 2026. I have therefore been required to make regular payments for a service and application that I have not been using.

Because there is no active cancellation option available within the app, I am unable to cancel the subscription myself. I have tried to contact both the App Store and the app's customer support channels, but I have been unable to reach anyone who can assist me. As a result, I have been unable to stop these recurring payments. I do not believe I ever gave clear and understandable consent either to the duration of the subscription or to these recurring $35 charges.

I request that the subscription associated with “sp language courses,” which appears to be connected to the 10 Minute English app, be canceled immediately and that all amounts charged to my card every two months since July 2025 be fully refunded. I also request that the inconvenience and financial harm caused by being charged for a service I did not use and could not cancel be resolved as soon as possible.
